About Me:

I am a history enthusiast who has previously studied aspects of NZs involvement in the Vietnam War. I recently rediscovered my interest in the conflict after reading several books on the American experience and am interested in learning more about NZs participation in the conflict. One of the books I've read recently is 'Decent Interval' by former CIA operative Frank Sneep, which tells the 'behind the scenes' tale of America's troubling role in South Vietnam from the ceasefire until the fall of Saigon. It got me thinking - did NZs diplomatic representatives have to deal with similar difficulties as the Americans?
