Navigator with 41 Sqn RNZAF – one sortie. Left the RNZAF after 12 years and joined the RAAF and rose to the rank of Group Captain. At some point he changed his name to MacFarling. His brother Adrian Filsell also served with 41 Squadron. Died in Australia.
