Nursing sister with the New Zealand Surgical Team at Qui Nhon, 3 August 1967 to mid-1968. At that time she was a commissioned Nursing Sister in the RNZNC. She resigned after her RTNZ in late 1968 and later went back to Vietnam with NZ Red Cross in 1973–1974. Awarded OBE, RRC and Florence Nightingale Medal during her lifetime of nursing service.
