Long Tan memorial on Anzac Day 2008. Some 400 people visited the memorial for the service this year. The whole experience was so moving. I layed poppies at the memorial to commemorate the Australians who lost their lives on this very spot with D Company 6RAR, who I was later to serve with.
And yes I do know my shirt is hanging out.
