I joined the Army in April
I joined the Army in April 1969 on Basic 72. I was posted to Vietnam April 1970/ 71 on No 2 gun. Upon RTNZ & discharge I joined the Ministry of Transport (MOT) as a Traffic Officer in March 1972. I rejoined the Army (RNZPro) in 1980 and returned to the MOT in March 1981. I was promoted to Sergeant in 1887. In 1992 the MOT & NZ Police merged. I am currently stationed at Rangiora as a sergeant on the Commercial Vehicle Investigation Unit (CVIU).
