LBdr Francis ( Frank ) Toko 350915 161Bty RNZA
My father, Frank Toko, was a member of the 161Bty a lot earlier than 1965 because he & Mum got married in 1961 with Dad in uniform. Dad also did the Tour Of Duty at Buckingham Palace with the 161 Bty in the early '60's. Information that I was given stated " The Royal New Zealand Artillery were a part of the First Ever Military Units outside of the British Army to be Stationed at Buckingham Palace & my Dad was a part of that unit. I had been shown a photograph album by dad 40 odd years ago of his unit in Vietnam & at Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately I think the album was LOST/DESTROYED when Mum & Dad split up.
