Leader and drummer with the Māori HyMarques showband in Vietnam 28 January 1970 to 31 July 1971. Also completed tour with Maori Ambassadors showband between 15 July and 21 December 1968 and spent more than two years in Vietnam. Received his medals at Government House Auckland on 20 July 2016 from HE Lieutenant General Sir Jerry Mateparae. Lives in Auckland and a key contact for members of the showbands.
