Enlisted in the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) in the early 1960s as a Navigator. Retired in December 1982. Two tours with 41 Squadron, Far East Air Force (FEAF). The first from July 65 to July 67; the second from February 1974 to April 1975. Completed a total of 36 sorties.
