Anyone know where this photo came from-? In an RNZIR Beret and not RNZASC-? Have the 28th ANZUK patch on so must be in Singapore-?? any help appreciated greatly. Onward.

The image above is cropped from a photograph taken at NeeSoon Garrison in January 1971. The 14 individuals in the photograph were all Nelson College Old Boys, including CO Lt Col Robin Guy Williams MBE and RSM WO1 Donald Frank Williams.

There were several non-Infantry persons in 1RNZIR at that time. The RSO was Capt George Mathews, RNZ Sigs. There were no ‘uniform’ rules, and we usually wore on our corps stable belts.
