Captain John 'Tubby' Henderson of 161 Battery, RNZA does his best to keep the beer cold for a BBQ, circa 1968-1969. When coming off long operations it was not unusual for the Battery to 'wind down' with a BBQ. The official ration of 'two cans per man per day' seemed to fly out the window on such occasions. The preferred way of chilling down cans was to place them in a standard army trailer and cover them with locally made ice.
