Real name, Te Kei o te Waka Wirihana MERITO...I guess Kay Wilson was the Pakeha-isation of the first names which was common for that era in NZ history for various reasons. "Baldy" is a legend amonst RNZIR and a veteran of the Malaya war also. His MNZM was well deserved. Onward
