Under the baton of Lt Jim Carson, 1RNZIR Band launches into its first Vietnam concert for New Zealand and Australian troops at Nui Dat's famed 'Dustbowl', October 1969. Guest conductors included WO1 Graeme Brighouse 1RNZIR RSM at Terendak, who was in Vietnam at the time.
